Kommer Mini Fulcrum

Knifemaker and inventor Charles Kain of Indianapolis, Indiana had introduced one of the very possible ways to open a folding knife that demonstrated his Fulcrum™ Action (patent pending).

The Fulcrum Action proposed by another knifemaker Russ Kommer has embraced this folder, which we call as the Fulcrum™. It was voted the Imported Knife of the Year at the 2008 Blade Show in Atlanta, and was given a special Innovation Award at the 2008 International IWA Show in Nuremburg, Germany.

To open the Fulcrum, just press the left side of the frame and the blade will swing out to a 90 degrees position. Closing the Fulcrum is also easy. Simply release the stainless steel locking liner. It is built with high carbon steel pivot at the back spacer and stainless steel bolster with diamond pattern.

Every model comes with a removable stainless steel gear clip. The new Mini Fulcrum is a smaller model with 2.19” blade. Its build and action is identical to the larger Fulcrum, but its scales are mother-of-pearl CPL. And because of its lightweight at only 1.9 ounces, it makes an exclusive personal carry.
